Holy Rosary To Become St. Joseph Parish School

On March 24, Bishop Kevin Vann issued a decree stating that Holy Rosary Catholic School is to become a parish school of St. Joseph Parish.  

When Holy Rosary, then called South Arlington Catholic School, opened its doors in 1995, it was under the supervision of the Diocesan Bishop rather than any one parish. The school served the six parishes in the Arlington and Mansfield area.

Through the years, the relationship between Holy Rosary and St. Joseph's parish has grown.

The links to the right include a Frequently Asked Questions sheet and the official announcement from Bishop Vann where he decreed that the school will take on a third name. St. Joseph Catholic School will debut during the 2013-14 academic school year.

In an email, Principal Chad Riley assured parents the change would primarily be administrative and there will be "no noticeable changes in the day to day formation and education of students at Holy Rosary. We have an outstanding school and we will continue to provide an outstanding Catholic education to families from Arlington, Mansfield, and the surrounding areas."
