Mrs. Corneil loves teaching first grade at St. Joseph Catholic School! She began teaching at our school in 2012 when she piloted the five day Pre-K program. Mrs. Corneil graduated from the University of North Texas where she was accepted into the Meadows Excellence in Teaching Program. There she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Education. Mrs. Corneil is Texas State certified as a Generalist for Early Childhood-6th grade, Kindergarten-12th grade Art, high school Psychology and is National STEM certified. She has worn many hats throughout her career as a teacher and parent.
Mrs. Corneil’s husband Brian is a financial Adviser with Edward Jones. They have two wonderful children, Avery and Jarrett! They are longtime parishioners at St. Joseph Parish. Their daughter is a Nolan graduate and is working on a doctorate in sports and performance psychology. Their son is both a SJCS and Nolan graduate. He is studying electrical engineering at Purdue University.
