Mrs. Diane Price is a product of Catholic education, having attended St. Andrew Catholic school as a child, along with her eight siblings. She received her B.A. in English/Elementary Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her M. Ed. in Educational Leadership with a Certification in Catholic School Leadership from Creighton University. Mrs. Price has taught in both the Arlington Independent School District as well as the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth in grade levels ranging from first through seventh.
Mrs. Price and her husband, Shannon, have been married for thirty-three years. They have one son named Walker, who also graduated from the diocesan schools of St. Andrew and Nolan Catholic High School, both in Fort Worth. Walker graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and currently resides in Burleson, Texas where he gives back to the diocese by writing for the North Texas Catholic.
Mrs. Price has given back to her parish community in a variety of ways. She and her husband have volunteered for the Sponsor Couple Program, mentoring engaged couples for more than fifteen years. She has participated in the Funeral Ministry and spent several years volunteering for Cub Scouts. She and her family currently assist with perpetual adoration on First Fridays at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church in Fort Worth. She and her family love to hike and spend time outdoors.
Her commitment to her faith and Catholic education is her daily motivation. Helping others to grow both spiritually and academically in an environment steeped in the Catholic faith, ultimately fulfilling the mission of St. Joseph Catholic School is her goal.
