Mrs. Diane Price began her Catholic school career at St. Andrew Catholic School in Fort Worth where she taught for many years and served as a team leader and mentor to new teachers. She has also served on a Catholic school accreditation team. Mrs. Price comes from a large family. She and her eight siblings all graduated from St. Andrew Catholic School. Mrs. Price has a strong understanding of what it means to be a faith-filled Catholic school leader, coming from a family with deep Catholic school roots.
Mrs. Price received her B.A. in English/Elementary Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her M. Ed. in Educational Leadership with a Certification in Catholic School Leadership from Creighton University. Mrs. Price has taught in both the Arlington Independent School District as well as the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth in grade levels ranging from first through seventh.
Mrs. Price and her husband, Shannon, have been married for 31 years. They have one son named Walker, who also graduated from St. Andrew and from Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth. He has since graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Mrs. Price has given back to her parish community in a variety of ways. She and her husband have volunteered in the Sponsor Couple Program mentoring engaged couples for more than 15 years. She has participated in the Funeral Ministry and spent time volunteering for Cub Scouts. She and her family love to hike and spend time outdoors.
Her committment to her faith and Catholic education is her daily motivation. Helping others to grow both spiritually and academically in an environment steeped in the Catholic faith, ultimately fulfilling the mission of St. Joseph Catholic School is her goal.
