Mrs. Ricciardi was born and raised in Italy. She then lived in New York for eight years where she learned English and earned her degrees. She has a BA in Spanish and a BA in Italian literature, as well as a Master of Arts in Spanish from St. John’s University. While living in New York she also taught Spanish in the diocese of Brooklyn and Queens. After she got married she moved to Arizona where she taught Italian and Spanish in the Maricopa Community Colleges, and Spanish to middle and high school students. This is her 21st year teaching Spanish and her 5th year teaching Latin. She loves nature, music and art. In her free time she enjoys hiking and visiting museums. Mrs. Ricciardi loves spending time with her husband and 6 children, listening to them play music and singing.
