Vicky Hess

Hello, My name is Ms. Vicky Hess and I will be sharing my experience in the field of Vocal Performance with our students at SJCS. I have taught Theatre and Music for 25 years in several arenas, including Summer Camps. I hold a BFA from Texas Wesleyan and I am a member of Actors Equity and continue to educate myself in the Arts of Music, Speech and Drama–especially how they relate to a classroom setting.  I teach Solfege, Off and DalCroze methods of Elementary Music.  Movement in my classrooms is an essential element of my Teaching–the students learn by Feeling and Exploring the music through kinesthetic learning!!!

I am so excited to be a small part of the SJCS Team and I look forward to a Great Year of singing and performing.
