Before joining then Holy Rosary as a 3rd Grade teacher, Mr. Xavier Rodriguez taught 3 rdGrade in Fort Worth at All Saints Catholic School for five years. He also served as principal there for three years. He is a product of Catholic School education. He completed his studies at both All Saints Catholic School and Nolan Catholic High School. He later earned both a Bachelor’s of Art and Bachelor’s of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University. Mr. Rodriguez earned his Master’s Degree from The University of Dallas in Catholic School Leadership. In addition to teaching 3rd Grade, Mr. Rodriguez serves as co-moderator for the school chapter of National Junior Honor Society. While attending Texas Wesleyan University, Mr. Rodriguez served as vice-president of the English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta. He also served as editor for the Texas Wesleyan University literary magazine Aries. Mr. Rodriguez has been married for 25 years and has three children. He enjoys reading, writing, traveling, fixing jigsaw puzzles and listening to music. He spends his free time watching baseball and supporting his children in their various activities. Mr. Rodriguez believes all children can be successful. He adheres to the idea that students who learn to read well will ultimately be on the right track for academic success. Much learning done away from the academic environment is contingent on acquiring knowledge from the written word and applying that knowledge to practical situations.
