Dear Prospective Family,
Thank you for taking the time to explore St. Joseph Catholic School. I am honored to be the principal of this school, partnering with our families on this educational faith-filled journey. I am a product of Catholic education myself, as is my son. My husband and I know first-hand the value of a Catholic education, having witnessed the beautiful impact it has made on our own lives.
Our school has been serving the Arlington community for over twenty-nine years by teaching the mind and nourishing the soul of each student we encounter. As we continue to successfully teach and nourish young minds and souls to become the servant leaders of our future, we explore a multitude of classical literature imbedded in a challenging curriculum, all within a faith-based prayerful environment. Our goal is to deepen a child’s ability to wonder about the world God has created, as well as help them possess the knowledge and moral integrity required to navigate the modern world we live in.
Here, your children will encounter devoted faculty and staff committed to revealing the God-given talents present in each. Through the high expectations they hold for their students, they have the ability to develop in them beneficial habits both mental and spiritual. Our graduates are able to expertly articulate ideas both written and oral, collaborate with others, and think analytically, providing them with the confidence to embrace the challenges of higher education.
We take pride in the fact that our students leave St. Joseph Catholic School possessing a profound sense of duty to their fellow man, cultivated by the numerous opportunities provided them by the school to serve others. Service opportunities reveal what it means to be Catholic, as Christ has taught us. Our students know how to live out their faith through works.
The Eucharist is at the heart of all we do, as we attend Mass weekly. If you are trying to decide if a Catholic education would benefit your family, I encourage you to reach out to us to begin a dialogue. We are a community of Christians, welcoming to others.
At St. Joseph Catholic School, a family will find that encountering the Transcendentals: Truth, Beauty, and Goodness, lead all of us to God.
In Christ’s service,
Diane Price, Ed.L.
